‘Pop Up’ Wildlife Cinema and Film nights ... a feast for your senses The cost to bring this fantastic pop up cinema into your club or society is currently, (November 2015), JUST £45.00. I cover all of Derbyshire with my Pop Up Wildlife Cinema and may travel out of county too so please don’t hesitate to ask. There are lots of DVD titles to choose from (over 20 titles to date) but I’ve taken the liberty of making a few suggestions outlined below, but if you don’t see something of interest please ask for the full list of films. 1. The Wild Forest - The New Forest. A film exploration of the wild and wonderful New Forest in Hampshire, home to its iconic ponies and a wealth of fabulous wildlife too. The whole area is just packed with rare plants, reptiles, butterflies and dragonflies and all are on show in this fascinating and sumptuously illustrated film. Running time 55 minutes approximately. 2. Wild Norfolk- Spring and Summer. A gorgeously presented tour of the wildlife hotspots of North Norfolk. A film all about the birds and other animals which make Norfolk a Mecca for wildlife watchers from all over the world. Full of Avocets, Dabchicks, swarms of dragonflies and wild flowers aplenty this film has something for everyone. Running time 50 minutes approximately. 3. 5 Minute Wonders. A delightful mix of rare birds, (Ospreys, Red Kites), fabulous landscapes (stunning waterfalls) and lots of other wildlife besides (our British seals, swans, herons, Autumn, the Cevennes in France and so on) this film is 10, short, 5 minute wonders long. The viewer will travel the length and breadth of Britain in search of these tasty bite sized wild morsels. Running time 55 minutes approximately. 4. Shetlands Wildlife. * This is a wonderful mix of wildlife photographs, video and wild sounds all blended into a delightful exploration of the Shetland Isles during the Simmer Dim (summer). Its full of birds, seals, wild flowers and stunning landscapes, set to evocative music to set the scene. This film isn’t narrated.  Running time 45 minutes approximately. 5. The Glorious Colours of Autumn. Autumn is a time of intense colour as the leaves turn to burnished gold, red, yellow and orange. Learn all about ‘leaf peepers’ and why the colour is what it is. This film is ideal as part of a two film presentation.  Running time 30 minutes approximately. 6. Glorious Gannets. Come with me and explore Bempton Cliffs in Yorkshire, home to a cliff nesting colony of these majestic birds. See and hear thousands of sea-birds all nesting cheek by jowl on precarious cliff edges and marvel at the fabulous Yorkshire coastal scenery. Ideal film to add to a double film presentation. Running time 10 minutes approximately. Each of the films, except * ‘Number 4. ‘Shetlands Wildlife’ film, are fully narrated by The Black Country Lad. They are richly illustrated with wildlife film gathered over almost twenty years of field work by me. The films are presented to a broadcast professional standard. Most films last about an hour and there’s time for questions and so on afterwards. I have all my own equipment, projectors, screens and so on so you need not worry about supplying anything that we will use to present to your members. Furthermore, as all the films and talk presentations are my work and copyright entirely you DON’T need a Public Entertainment Licence.
