Since February 2015 I have run highly successful ‘pop up’ Wildlife Cinema nights each month on a Sunday evening at Willington Village Hall, Willington, South Derbyshire. These have been so well received that they have become the talk of the village, with numbers attending regularly hitting 30 or more! The film-shows hark back to the days of ‘whirring projectors’ and a real cinema-like experience, but these days they’re shown in High Definition and high quality digital sound. My films are projected onto a VERY big 100 inch screen. Each production is researched, directed and filmed by me to ensure the highest broadcast quality digital images and sound fidelity. Each month a new title is shown, each film lasts around an hour, or I might show two shorter films of half an hour each to make up an exciting programme of wildlife film. There’s something for everyone, from flowers to butterflies, Orchids to Grey Seals, Ospreys to Vultures and everything in between besides. Refreshments are served after the film at Willington, (the Railway Inn has the usual pub facilities) and there’s a lively Q & A session too. It’s exactly how I always envisaged them being seen by people. Wildlife Film Nights are held at Willington Village Hall,Twyford Road, Willington, south Derbyshire, every second Sunday of the month at 6.30pm and at the Railway Inn, Midway Road, Swadlincote, south Derbyshire  on the third Sunday of the month at 6.00pm. The Railway Inn night is an exciting new venture called Pictures at the Pub’, an eclectic mix of my films, wildlife slide-shows, quizzes and more besides.
